BWC Christmas at Highlands 2017
BWC Christmas at Highlands: Saturday 25th November 2017Highlands is putting on Cromwell’s ‘BWC Christmas at Highlands’, and like every year, we need your help as the stars of the show are the kids!!!!
We need the little people and the not so little people of Central Lakes to be the stars of the show. We are keen to give each school/group/classroom 10 – 15 minutes to perform. Like last year, it does not have to be xmas carols – it can be a performance of whatever you want it to be!! We’d love to have the Kappa Haka Groups, the Jump Jam teams, the cheerleaders, the soloist and perhaps for the first time ever – a performance from the teachers!!!!
We hope that some schools will still perform xmas carols, but we are also enlisting the support of some grown up groups to perform carols as well.
This is a FREE community event to celebrate Christmas and bring the Central Lakes community together and give our kids another opportunity to shine! You’ll see that this year we have moved the ‘BWC Christmas at Highlands’ to the Friday night. We know how busy it gets at the end of the year, and this means everyone still has their Saturday to play with!
So what do we need from you?
Please confirm that your day care/school/colleagues can participate by reply email to firstname.lastname@example.org. We will be in touch with your time slot – NB little people will be closer to 5.30pm and older kids closer to 6.30pm. Can you please confirm if you’re able to participate or not, by Friday 27th October 2017.
Encourage your families and their friends to come along - Bring a picnic, enjoy an afternoon of entertainment and have the chance to celebrate the community that we live in. It would be fantastic if you can put a notice in your school notices, or a poster on your windows – we can provide them!
Date: Saturday 25th November 2017
Time: 5.00pm arrival for a 5.30pm start. (Please note: Highlands is open all day, so people can arrive as early as they like)
A cash bar and food will be available on the day for purchase, but families are welcome to bring picnics – no byo alcohol though.
