  • This event has passed.

October 1, 2021 @ 8:30 am - October 2, 2021 @ 5:00 pm

Lockdown has thrown a spanner in the works for the first few rounds of the South Island Endurance Series so we are pleased to announce Highlands is now officially the first round of the Series!!

This event kicks off the Highlands 2021 – 2022 race season and see competitors from around the South Island vying for the title of South Island Endurance Champion in the penultimate event of the series.

The top 20 competitors from this series are then invited to compete in the North Island in the New Zealand Endurance Championship Finale which pits the best of the best against each other in a race to the glory of being the New Zealand Endurance Champion!!

An impressive line-up of newly imported GT3 cars are likely to appear for the 1-Hour and 3-Hour races, including several Nissan GT-R’s, and a Brabham BT62. Add the regular entries of Audi R8, McLaren, Porsche and Camaro and there will be an exciting variety of sights and sounds!

This will be the fourth time SIES has raced at Highlands and it’ll be the best yet!
