Highlands is bringing The Great Cromwell Push Kart Derby to Central Otago this spring!

We are inviting kids from all over Central Otago to start building their very own push karts to race in our inaugural event.  Race day is scheduled for Sunday 11th October 2020 and the Highlands track will come alive with push karts from all over the region.  Budding race drivers from across a range of age groups, will take the wheel and compete for the coveted title of The Great Cromwell Push Kart Derby champion.

Central Otago businesses are not left out and we will have a Business category for the “big kids at heart” to show their building prowess and racing strategies.

PUSH KART DERBY CLASSES:

• Kids (ages 8 – 12)
• Open (age 13+)
• Family – (child in the kart steering and a parent/adult pushing the kart)
• Veteran (age 50+)
• Corporate – local business branded karts (age 13+)  

This promises to be an exceptional family day out where we can come together, support our favourite racers and enjoy our Central Otago community.
