Temporary Closure

At Highlands our number one priority has been and will always be the health and safety of our guests and team members.  We believe it is important to remain calm but vigilant and do what we can as a Company and as a society to help limit and slow the spread of the virus, by being practical, kind, considerate and responsible.

Following recent Government announcements that New Zealand is now at Level 3  and then a Level 4 on Wednesday we are now closed and will re-open when it is safe to do so.

We are working with our teams as we navigate this rapidly changing environment and providing them with assurance and support.

Health & Safety

Since COVID-19 emerged, Highlands has adopted our health & safety practices in line with Ministry of Health guidelines and there have been no reported cases of COVID-19 at our venues.

When we are able to reopen we will continue the active steps and sensible precautions we have already put in place to keep everyone safe while also keeping our business running, so that we can continue the important role we play in the lives of our teams and communities.  We will get through this, one day at a time and we wish you all the best in these unprecedented times.

Vouchers

All Highlands vouchers which will be impacted during the temporary closure will be extended for the duration of the closure. For example, if the venue is closed for a month, the voucher will be extended for a month.

We understand that this is an unsettling time for everyone – none of us are alone in our worry.  But we are  adapting to this ever changing environment with common-sense, compassion and strength.
