TWO DAYS OF NEW ZEALAND’S BEST RACING AT HIGHLANDS 4th – 5th APRIL 2020

The spectacular Festival of Speed at Highlands returns – with an amazing selection of historic and classic vehicles battling it out on the world-class Highlands circuit.  The Festival of Speed is renowned as one of the most popular racing events in New Zealand for both competitors and spectators.

It’s a weekend packed with some of the best modern classic racing you will see in New Zealand. Featuring the Mainland Muscle, Formula Libre, Highlands Modern Classics & Highlands Nostalgic Classics and the Vintage Car Club. Join us for some true-blue kiwi racing starring some of New Zealand’s most well-known racing legends!

HIGHLIGHTS
  • Tickets are only $30 per day or $50 for a Weekend Pass – kids under 16 free
  • Two days of great racing – including the Mainland Muscles championship round
  • Motor home camping available on-site

TICKETS

Saturday 4th April – Sunday 5th April: Event tickets are required for each day of racing.

Your Weekend Pass includes access to the pits so you can meet the drivers and see the cars up close as well as access to the Highlands Museum over on the main terrace.   Level one at the Pits is also open to the public, so when you are finished checking out the facilities, you can enjoy the track action from Level One with a cool beverage in hand!

  • Entry is $30 a day per adult or $50 for a Weekend Pass
  • Kids under 16 are free
  • Tickets can be purchased via the HIGHLANDS WEBSITE or at the gate on the day.
  • Ticket includes entry to Highlands Museum
  • Access to Vehicle Show featuring over 200 vehicles on display
  • Go-Kart track open for a race with mates
  • Fast Dash Ferrari or Porsche GT3RS open for bookings

VEHICLE SHOW

If you have a special vehicle that is worth showing off to our motor-racing fans then we want to hear from you! Registrations are open for the Highlands Festival of Speed Vehicle Show. Not limited to cars – it could be a bike, boat or caravan.

If your vehicle is accepted we will extend you one complimentary Weekend Pass for the Highlands Festival of Speed – any additional tickets can be purchased at the main gate.

MOTOR HOME FACILITIES ON-SITE

Due to popular demand, we are thrilled to offer parking for self-contained motor homes at the Festival of Speed – so you can stay where all the actions at all weekend long at Highlands.

Step 1: Review summary

  • All applications are subject to availability
  • First in first served basis
  • $100/vehicle for weekend @Trackside (limited to 7m vehicles)
  • $50/vehicle for weekend @Outfield Parking

Step 2: Apply online

  • Easily APPLY HERE for your motor home spot for the Festival of Speed
  • All campers must purchase a weekend pass of $50/person
  • Weekend Passes will be given to you upon arrival
  • Parking and entry tickets must be pre-paid prior to arriving
  • You will be notified when your booking is confirmed
  • All competitors must advise that they are competitors upon inquiry

Step 3: Follow the entry times for camper vans

  • Thursday 2nd April 5pm – 6pm
  • Friday 3rd April 8am – 9am
  • Friday 3rd April 5pm – 6pm
  • Saturday 4th April 8am – 9am

All camper vans need to have vacated the site by 10am Monday 8th April. Please note: no animals will be permitted on site or in motor homes over the event weekend.
