Things you need to know
Fast Facts & Safety
Fitting safely into our vehicles is a necessity so we recommend only people below 188cm and 110kg participate in our U-Drives. However as everyone carries their height and weight differently, if you are outside these guidelines, we encourage you to come along and speak with our friendly team who can see if you fit in the vehicles.
Minimum height of 165cm.
Alcohol cannot be consumed in the period prior to your driving experience and you may be breath tested. Zero tolerance.
This experience is not suitable for pregnant women or those people suffering from a heart condition.
You must be able to speak strong and literate English to take part in this experience.
Licences & Credit Cards
You must hold a current driver's licence and be competent in using a manual transmission. Learner’s permits are not acceptable.
It is essential that you bring your licence with you on the day as it must be sighted.
All Participants must have a credit/debit card for the bond security of $2000 NZD for any damages that are caused through negligent or inappropriate use of the vehicle. All funds will be released after the Ultimate U-Drive experience is finished if no damage has been caused to the vehicle.

Do I need to make a booking?
We strongly recommend making a booking so you avoid missing out on our exceptional V8 Mustang U Drive experience. Especially during our busy periods such as weekends, public holidays and school holidays.
Will I be driving the whole time?
Yes, you will be and the pro driver instructing you will be seated beside you.
Can I take a passenger in the car with me?
No, the Ford Mustang V8 is a two-seater car so will only seat yourself and the pro driver instructing you.
Is this car a manual or automatic?
Automatic.
What happens if it rains?
The Mustang U-Drive does not operate if it is raining and the track is wet. If you are booked in, our team will contact you if this product is unable to operate.
Can I purchase a video of my experience?
Yes, you can purchase a video for $50 that films the experience. Please note, this must be decided before the experience. Your friends and family will be able to take some great photos and videos before you head out and then from our viewing berm when on track.
