Mad Mike’s Southern Bash at Highlands

Internationally acclaimed Drifter and Red Bull athlete Mad Mike Whiddett will host Highlands Motorsport Park’s first-ever drift event on March 22nd, 2025.

Expect car shows, track cruises, world-renowned talent, and a range of Whiddett’s one-of-a-kind creations to make the trip down from the Hampton Downs ‘Mad Lab’ for the event on March 22, 2025.

As NZ's best drifters take to this world class circuit for the very first time. In addition to this the Star Insure circuit cruise is open to the public. Off the track there will be the Hard Park, the Highlands museum will be open for all to soak up the incredible variety of iconic automotive history on offer and there is the track side GoKarts.  There will be the FREE Kids Zone and you can upgrade your experience to the VIP offering with access to Pit Lane level 1, catered lunch, casual indoor / outdoor seating & trackside bar available.
